Wunderwurks Jupiter Lamp

The Jupiter lamp by Wunderwurks stays true to its namesake with bold colors and multi-layered stripes. The true beauty of the lamp shines through when the lamp is turned on, revealing hidden colorful gems, just as the light of the sun shows the beauty of the planet itself.

The lamp shade is made from EVA plastic, giving it a high gloss finish and a kind of 'bendy' look. The base is made from solid chrome steel and sits at 17 inches high (the shade is 14 inches in diameter).

Wunderwurks is the brainchild of artist Tony Wurman who uses a proprietary technique with the EVA plastic to make it into a working piece of art. Each piece is handmade in the Wunderwurks studio in New York, using 100% recycled materials.
