White-Rodgers 80 Series Wireless Kit 1F85RF-275
Released September, 2008
The White-Rodgers 80 Series Wireless Kit 1F85RF-275 is the flagship offering in the 80 Series of programmable thermostats. The main aspect of this thermostat that sets it apart from the rest of the 80 Series is its wireless remote sensor, which is a seperate module from the thermostat, and which will monitor and react to the temperatures around it.

While many of White-Rodgers' programmable thermostats are remote sense capable, no other thermostat in the 80 Series is, and the White-Rodgers thermostats that are remote sense capable usually do not have a seperate remote sensor. This thermostat also gives you the unique option of powering it with hardwired power, or power stealing with battery back-up power. However, the rest of the 1F85RF-275's specs are standard 80 Series: the multi-stage design of this thermostat allows you to heat three rooms while cooling two in heat pump mode, or heating two and cooling two in multi-stage mode (like the 1F85-277 and 1F85-275), and you can program it for five days and two single days (5+1+1) like all the rest of the 80 Series. Also like the entire 80 Series line of programmable thermostats, the White-Rodgers 80 Series Wireless Kit 1F85RF-275 is made for use with 24 VAC systems.
