Despite this small size, the A2 LED Aviator is capable of producing two distinct beam types. Thanks to its incandescent lamp and micro-textured reflector, you can run a spotlight (at fifty lumens, over twice the light offered by a big two D-cell flashlight) for sixty minutes before the power runs out. For close work, the three small LEDs embedded in this flashlight allow you to get a flood beam in your choice of white, red, blue, green, or yellow-green. The SureFire A2 LED Aviator's two-stage pushbutton tailcap switch lets you instantly select output levels: press for the long-runtime flood beam, press further for the white spot beam, twist for constant-on low beam, twist further for constant-on high beam.
