The DPF-XR100 is Sony's top of the line digital picture frame released in September 2010 along with the DPF-VR100, both of which offer MP4 and AVCHD video playback with stereo audio. This model has the same 2GB capacity which can store up to 4000 two mega-pixel images and also has multiple card slots for compatibility with an assortment of USB memory sticks, SD and xD cards.

The only difference between these two picture frames is this one has an HDMI output, so you can use the device as a media player and watch stored videos and photos on your tv. 16 slide show styles are included with 10 interval settings, and there are 15 different ways to display the date and time on top of your pictures. Other features include thumbnail view index for selecting pictures, MP3 playback, remote control, user definable on/off settings and slide show audio alarm. Mini USB port is included for direct connection to a PC or compatible Mac, and also in the box are an AC adapter, table top stand and wall hanging adapter.
