The Pros:Large memory capacity to hold a big collection of images. On-screen editing lets you do all the basic things to make slideshows look nice. Connecting to a normal TV for a slideshow is quick and easy.
The Cons:Much higher priced than most digital frames, need to be sure you need the extra functions. Hard to add custom sound files, doesn't seem to accept standard MP3s.
The Sony DPF-X1000 Digital Photo Frame is similiar to its sister product, the Sony DPF-V1000, except it has more memory for photo storage and costs a little bit more. It is a 10-inch digital photo frame and has a SVGA LCD screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and a aspect ratio of 15:9.

It has 2GB of internal memory which can store up to 4,000 photos and supports most flash memory cards and compact flash cards. It is Bluetooth ready for users who want to import images wirelessly from other Bluetooth devices. An extra purchase of a Bluetooth adaptor is necessary to use this function. The Sony DPF-X1000 Digital Photo Frame comes with an HDMI output for viewing photos on an HDTV. It comes with an alarm clock and a auto dimmer that adjusts the brightness of the display depending on the time of day.
