Singer 8770 Curvy

The Singer 8770 Curvy is a high-end electronic sewing machine somewhat similar to the Singer 8763 Curvy. The 8770 boasts a number of significant improvements over the 8763, most notably: 227 stitch patterns including alphanumeric stitches (the 8763 has only 30), seven full automatic one-step buttonholes (as opposed to two) and twin needle sewing capability.

Otherwise, the two machines sport similar features, including a heavy duty metal frame and a 25-year warranty.

The 8770 Curvy's 227 stitch patterns allow it to tackle almost any possible home sewing project from clothing to drapery while providing a number of more decorative stitch patterns. Its twin needle sewing capability allows the 8770 Curvy to sew more complex decorative patterns by adding a parallel zig-zag stitching alongside any other user-selected stitch pattern. Meanwhile, the 8770 Curvy's heavy duty metal frame ensures stable sewing that is unlikely to be interrupted by bumps or jostles.
