Samsung SPF-71E

$80.00 Released June, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Priced low enough to make a good gift. Automatically adjusts pictures to fill the screen, don't have to format ahead of time. Retro-style analog clock function looks very cool.

The Cons:Display isn't very bright, especially compared to a standard computer screen. Built-in memory is a little limited, need to think ahead about what you're going to put in there.

The Samsung SPF-71E is a 7” digital photo frame built for displaying photos and seamless slideshows. The display screen offers a relatively poor 480x234 resolution, but an intelligent Auto-Resize function can be used to automatically optimize any photo so it fits just right.

Where to Buy

Included is only 120MB of memory; however, more files can be accessed from a computer, a USB memory device, or an SD memory card. The only other notable thing about the SPF-71E is that it can be used as a photoframe, a photoframe with digital time superimposed over the chosen photo, or as a conventional retro-style analog clock.
