This soleplate will allow you to distribute steam evenly over a garment. Like all Rowenta steam irons, the Steamium Iron has electronic temperature control, which uses a sensor to maintain an even soleplate temperature. Also like all the Rowenta steam irons, this iron has a 3-way smart auto shut off system. This system turns the iron off automatically once it has been standing for eight minutes, or tipped over for thirty seconds. The 295ml water tank of this iron is larger than the 200ml of the Effective Iron and Effective Cord Reel Iron, but smaller than the 400ml of the Advancer Iron. Rowenta promotes the Steam Force technology of the Steamium Iron as pushing 30% more steam into garments than other steam irons, which produces more satisfying ironing results. This is the feature that sets it apart from the rest of Rowenta's steam irons.
