Rowenta Effective Iron

The Rowenta Effective Iron is a lower mid-priced offering. This iron has the same specs as the higher end Effective Cord Reel Iron, but without the cord reel system. The Effective Iron is also a different color (blue as opposed to gray), and has a higher wattage (1600 as opposed to 1500) than the Effective Cord Reel Iron.

Beyond these differences, the two irons are the same. Both have an AIRGLIDE stainless steel soleplate, which allows you to glide smoothly and evenly over a garment. This soleplate is also easy to clean. The Auto Steam feature of the Effective Iron and the Effective Cord Reel Iron matches the steam output with the soleplate's temperature. The 3-way smart auto off feature of both irons automatically shuts the iron off when it has been standing up for eight minutes, or when it has been tipped over for thirty seconds. The self clean function of the Rowenta Effective Iron and Rowenta Effective Cord Reel Iron removes mineral deposits and dirt that need to be flushed out.
