Pantone CAPSURE

The Pantone CAPSURE is a handheld color scanner that allows a user to capture the CMYK and RGB IDs of any color from any surface, including small items, patterns, and multi-colored textures like walls and carpets.

It’s like a real-life version of the eyedropper tool in Photoshop. Geared primarily for professionals (painters, graphic artists, interior designers, etc), the high-priced CAPSURE uses tri-directional image capture technology to remove interferences from multi-textured or –patterned materials so that it can record 27 color-accurate images. It then extracts up to four dominant colors, providing them to the user in a format that can be used on a computer.
