The left-front and right-rear elements of the cooktop are dual-circuit allowing them to be used for two different sizes of pans. The 4.8 cu.ft. convection oven of the KERA205P features KitchenAid's True Convection cooking system which utilizes a third hidden rear element and a rear fan to better circulate the air for faster, more even cooking results. The convection system has an EasyConvect conversion system in which you can input the conventional cooking time and temperature and the system will automatically convert it to the equivalent convection time. The oven includes two adjustable broiler elements to handle a variety of portion sizes in addition to a CleanBake hidden element which warms both the bottom and sides of the oven for better baking results. It also offers a self-cleaning system with soil level/time selection and an automatic door lock for security. The KERA205P is available in a black, white, or biscuit finish and comes with a 1 year limited warranty. The oven is less advanced than KitchenAid's KERS205T since it has a smaller oven capacity and lacks the extra element, hot surface indicator, and additional oven features that come with the KERS205T.
