Each piece is square with varying thickness ranging from 4 inches to 0.25 inches. You start with 14.5 inches to fill and can choose to use up all the inches or stop at any point. The more pieces you add, the more expensive your lamp will be, however the price still falls within reason, ranging from $92 as a base and going upwards of $200. The lampshade is a standard white, measuring 16 inches tall and 6 inches square. The lamp post is also a standard silver metal. Pre-made options are available for people who don't want to configure their own.
