The Cons:Footboard is restrictive. Moves around quite a bit- lacks stability. Have to use a very thin mattress with it.

#ikea_svelvik_bed_frame The overall look is quite good. But the process of assembling is very cumbersome. Moreover the design of assembly of head board and tail board with the side frame is very bad and very unstable, The method of fixing, ie sliding and locking instead of firm tightening, of the frame is not desirable for such bed frames.Even the tightening of the bolts are very difficlult. Whatever way the the side frames are fixed the same can lift up and fall since the head of the bolt and size of the bolts are small and also not even a washer is used for tighteninh. There are two plastic supports are given and no way they can be used. Overall very poor design and construction for such a heavy frame
