Touchscreen sensitivity varies from product to product - certain units require a considerable amount of force to operate. Average lifespan appears to be very short in general - approximately one year before unit malfunction.

The Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 is one of two 7-day programmable thermostats (VisionPRO 8000, IAQ Comfort System) released as a downgrade from the Prestige series. Both models host a large, clear monochrome backlit digital display that offers easy and convenient touch-based control over temperature and humidity.
