The Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 is one of two 7-day programmable thermostats (VisionPRO 8000, IAQ Comfort System) released as a downgrade from the Prestige series. Both models host a large, clear monochrome backlit digital display that offers easy and convenient touch-based control over temperature and humidity.

Featured also are automatic change/check reminders for replacing filters or batteries, a real-time clock that automatically adjusts for daylight savings, and the option to override the regular program schedule in case you opt to go on a vacation. In comparison, the VisionPRO lacks a full color display and an optional wireless sensor. But it is a lot more affordable.
