Functionally they are otherwise very similar, with a backlit display and separate programming for weekdays and weekends. Up to 4 temperature changes per day can be programmed, allowing energy to be saved when it isn't needed, and precise temperature controls ensure 1 degree accuracy. This thermostat is available in Canada only, and works with heating and cooling systems and some heat pumps. It is not compatible with back-up heat, multi-stage heating/cooling systems, or electric baseboard heat.
