HIP, which is based on devices running Windows CE 5.0, integrates easily with third-party data acquisition and control products. The HIP 100 uses z-wave to communicate with a variety of devices from Light switches to thermostats. Other devices are connected to the Lagotek System by wires or wirelessly using WiFi. The System is modestly priced compared to most of the alternatives.
