The Hamilton Beach Smart Lift Iron (14401) is a specialized iron designed for stability and reduced tipping. It features a trigger mechanism on the underside of the handle grip that when squeezed lifts the iron onto two legs.

This means users need not continually pick up the iron every time they need to adjust the clothes they’re ironing.
