 Hamilton Beach's Lightweight Stainless Steel Iron is an entry-level model with functionally identical features to the model below it, the standard Lightweight Iron. The main difference is that this version has a stainless steel soleplate to promote longevity and resist rust or damage.

Otherwise, the features are the same, including top-mounted controls, adjustable steam controls and modes, an automatic shutoff, and average-sized plate. This model also has a visible reservoir and soft-grip handle and a standard cord length.
