The Hamilton Beach Digital Iron (14890) is a lower mid-priced offering. The 9 1/4" stainless steel soleplate is common for Hamilton Beach's low to mid cost irons. This soleplate is geared toward even steam distribution.

The adjustable steam controls allow you to decide what form of steam your garment calls for: spray, blast or vertical. As the name of this iron implies, these controls are digital. The Digital Iron (14890) also has an auto shut-off feature that will automatically turn off the iron when it has not moved for a period of time. The Soft Grip handle of this iron will cut down on hand strain during long ironing sessions. The Hamilton Beach Digital Iron (14890) has a retractable cord, which allows you to choose how much cord you need at any given time.
