The grill itself is sloped to allow grease to drip into a drip tray, which can be removed and washed in a dishwasher. The plates have a non-stick coating so oils or butter are unnecessary. It has an indicator light to show when the grill is hot enough. Other features include a dishwasher-safe spatula. This is the only entry-level model that has variable temperature controls and is targeted at small families.
