The temperature controls are variable with a top-mounted knob, and the handle extends beyond the body to remain cool while grilling. The body is made of die-cast aluminum and the rear has an adjustable hinge that accounts for different food thicknesses. The removable components are safe for use in a dishwasher. Total cooking area is 84 square inches, and this comprises four removable and washable plates.
