The Emerson Big Blue Touchscreen 1F97-1277 is a high-end programmable single stage thermostat, the flagship offering in the Blue product line. The display of this thermostat is twelve square inches of blue touchscreen (which justifies the "Big" in its name, as this display is six inches larger than the next biggest display in the Emerson Blue line).

This is the only thermostat in Emerson's Blue line with a touchscreen. You can program this thermostat for seven days at a time, or for five days and then two single days. You also do not have to program it at all if you do not want to. You can adjust the temperature as the need calls for it. This thermostat is equipped with a programmable fan, which will come in handy on hot days. The Big Blue Touchscreen 1F97-1277 is also remote sense capable, so that it can pick up and react to the temperature going on around it.
