The large easy-access on/off switch eliminates fumbling around when starting or stopping a cut. The saw is powered by a 1-3/4 hp motor, which provides enough power to cut the toughest hardwoods.  Unlike many other table saws, the motor is located in-board and out of the way so the saw can be stored against a wall and out of the way when not in use. There is a built in dust collection port making it easy to attach to a vacuum or dust-collection system. The DeWalt DW746 comes with a 10" 30 tooth blade and miter guage.

The DeWalt DW746 is also sold as the DeWalt DW746X, which includes 30" rails and rip fence. The precision rip fence always runs parallel to the blade for smooth action, is solid locking and easily adjusts.
