The Cons:Bevel movement has two levers, a little confusing and easy to overlook one when trying to adjust the stop.

The DeWalt DW718 is a heavy-duty 12" double-bevel sliding compound miter saw offered by DeWalt. Powered by a 15 amp, 3,600 rpm motor, this is a durable and powerful saw. Cutting accuracy is aided by an adjustable stainless steel miter detent plate with 10 positive stops and a machined base fence support.

Tall sliding fences support 6-1/2" moulding, and slide easily out of the way for bevel cuts. The blade can be turned left and right from 0 to 48° with postive stops at 0°, 22.5°, 33.9° and 48° in both directions, with miter cuts of up to 60° to the left and 50° to the right. The back fence design allows 2x16 lumber to be cut at 90° and 2x12 luber to be cut at 45°. Dual horizontal steel rails and innovative clamping mechanism and linear ball bearing make this a compact, durable and accurate saw. The compact design, and light 53 lb weight makes transportation and storage easy.
