The Cons:Laser is hard to set up at first, takes a long time to get it to line up. Need to double-check assembly when you get it, small adjustments such as over-tightened screws can make a real difference.

The DeWalt DW716 is a heavy-duty 12" double-bevel compound miter saw offered by DeWalt. Powered by a 15 amp, 3,600 rpm motor, this is a durable and powerful saw. Cutting accuracy is aided by an adjustable stainless steel miter detent plate with 11 positive stops and a machined base fence support.

  Tall sliding fences support 6-1/2" moulding, and slide easily out of the way for bevel cuts. The blade can be turned left and right from 0 to 48° with postive stops at 0°, 33.9°, 45° and 48° in both directions, and the blade can be rotated for 0 - 50° miter cuts. The back fence design allows 2x10 lumber to be cut at 90°, and 2x8 lumber to be cut at 45°. This is a lightweight saw, weighing only 44 lbs, and includes a carrying handle for easy transportation.
