The BG35 features a tempered glass lid that allows users to sear the food more evenly and produces a simmering effect on the grill. The DeLonghi BG35 also features an adjustable thermostat with varying cooking temperatures; high, medium and low. A unique food "infusion" features allows users to lift the grill plate and add-in spices or herbs that create flavors that become grilled into the food and kept circulating thanks to the lid.

The DeLonghi BG35 indoor grill also includes additional features such as the "cool-touch" handles for moving the device when it is hot, heat distributing elements and an "easy to clean" non-stick grill plate and "large" non-stick drip tray.
