Cuisinart PowerEdge CBT-1000

The Cuisinart PowerEdge CBT-1000 is a middle level blender by Cuisinart. It is designed for home use in gourmet kitchens, and is Cuisinart's most powerful blender. Like the PowerEdge CBT-700, it has pre-programmed ice crush and smoothie functions, and has the ability to create a smoothie from ingredients in under thirty seconds.

It adds another pre-programmed function, pulse, that synchronizes power bursts with pauses for more consistent and total blending. The blender is made of a die-cast metal and the buttons are backlit.
