The Brother ES-2000 is a home sewing machine with 77 stitch functions and 34 built-in stitches that can be selected using the LCD display. There are 21 decorative stitches, 9 heirloom stitches and 5 buttonhole styles, and a diagram of the various stitches is on the side panel for easy reference.

If you make a mistake in selecting the wrong stitch for the current presser foot it will display an error message, and will also tell you what presser foot to use for each stitch and the most common stitch length and width. Although not listed on the Brother page, it comes with a selection of presser feet similar to other models including buttonhole, zigzag, zipper, overcasting, walking foot, monogramming and blind stitch. Standard features include horizontal bobbin winding system, automatic threading and thread cutter, Quick-Set drop-in bobbin, thread tension dial and foot pedal. With the storage compartment removed it is a free arm design, so it can be used for cuffs, sleeves and pant legs etc.
