Breville Panini Grill BGR200XL
$99.00
Released January, 2007
The Pros:Variable temperature control. Removable drip tray.
The Cons:Plates are not removable.
The Breville Panini Grill makes Italian-style sandwiches using a double-sided grilling surface. The grill surfaces are made from non-stick cast aluminum that can be easily cleaned. Both the top and bottom surfaces can be adjusted to accommodate different needs - the top can be adjusted to allow for different sandwich sizes and the bottom can adjust to allow for better drainage of fat (there is also a removable drip tray to catch the extra fat).
The outer surface is brushed stainless steel and is simple and elegant enough to be left on the counter, even when not in use.
A bonus to the Breville panini is its variable temperature control. Whereas most paninis have only 2 states - on or off, the Breville can adjust the temperature from 350°F to 450°F to allow for finer tuning of your sandwiches.
Dimensions: 15.5" x 12", sits 6.5" off the counter
