The Breville Panini Duo BSG520XL is a countertop sandwich grill. It is essentially a skillet with a fold-down ribbed top plate, and it therefore can be used to either create grilled sandwiches and paninis, or to cook eggs and pancakes.

The top plate leaves grill markings on the bread when closed for an authentic look, and the height is adjustable ranging from completely pressed down to open several inches for toasting open-face sandwiches and melts. The housing is made of stainless steel and the cooking surface is non-stick.
