Bosch 4212L
$802.00
Released September, 2005
The Pros:Upfront bevel control makes it much easier to work with. Miter detent release is well designed and easy to work with. Feels really solid, not much flex in it at all.
The Cons:Very heavy, much heavier than most units like it. Slide knob doesn't lock the saw very well during transport. Need to adjust it out of the box to get it right, and it's a bit awkward to do.
The Bosch 4212L is a dual-bevel compound miter 12 inch saw that comes with arbor laser tracking that makes getting the perfect cut a lot easier. It has a wide miter range, 52 degrees for both the left and the right.
