Black & Decker SteamAdvantage Iron

The Black & Decker SteamAdvantage Iron is a mid-range iron similar to the Black & Decker Steam Iron. The SteamAdvantage Iron's most significant improvement over the Steam Iron is its 3-way auto shutoff, vertical steam and Smart Steam features.

Otherwise, the two irons sport the same basic features, including a nonstick soleplate and a 360 degree pivoting cord.

The SteamAdvantage Iron's 3-way auto shutoff ensures greater safety when ironing as it makes the SteamAdvantage Iron shut off when left standing for ten minutes or when left facedown/on its side for a minute. Its vertical steam feature allows the SteamAdvantage Iron to operate without the help of an ironing board by generating large amounts of steam. Meanwhile, the SteamAdvantage Iron's Smart Steam technology allows users to input the type of fabric to be ironed and steam levels are adjusted to best suit the selected fabric.
